Double rainbows are formed when sunlight is reflected twice within a raindrop. It’s a reflection of a reflection. Most rainbows are double rainbows, but usually the second rainbow is too faint to see. Roy Roy’s name is short for ROYGBIV – the sequence of rainbow colors – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue Indigo, Violet. Roy Roy’s rainbow eyes shoot rainbows out of each one (making a double rainbow) whenever he hears an excellent knock-knock joke. So, whenever you see a double rainbow like the one I saw today, try to find the excellent knock-knock joke that goes with it.
